Adding stone can make a huge improvement to your landscape project! From boulders to flagstone to decorative rock, the possibilities are endless!
I played around with a couple of different ideas last year with front entry spaces. Creating a specific mood or space as someone approaches your home can have a profound effect on how a person acts while in your home.
Check it out-
We used size, color, texture, light and water to create a unique look and feel to the Richards’ residence.
Bordering the front walkway we planted a row of Boulder Blue Fescue grass, flanked on both ends with Karl Foerster. The center piece is a 48″ ceramic pot pondless water fountain. The marroon of the pot contrasts brightly with all colors of the plant material. We also have a 3″ caliper green Japanese Maple as a back drop to the fountain surrounded by Goldflame Spirea, Crimson Pigmy Barberry, Dwarf Globe Blue Spruce and dwarf boxwoods along the porch. We combined Vista spot and pathlights to create a sense of warmth and curiosity at night.
It’s as fun to look at at night as it is during the daytime…….
Well, now I’m officially a blogger! I feel a little bit like Bill Murray’s character, Bob Wiley in “What About Bob”. I just strapped myself to this website and away I went!
“Ahoy! I’m sailing. I’m sailing. I am a sailor. I sailed on my first try!”
My intent with this blog is to tell you about myself and our company, Nature’s Intent! I will show you some sweet photo’s of landscapes and share with you some of my ideas and experiences!
